NanceNotes specializes in notecards, house portraits and original holiday cards.
NanceNotes has been in business since Winter 1997. The venture began after founder Nancy Niederhauser rediscovered her art during a Fall 1996 trip to Northern Italy. (What an inspiration.) She created numerous original pen and pastel illustrations of her trip. Friends suggested making copies for holiday gifts and the concept grew quickly to include her first holiday card and then notecards. Her work has been featured in several small San Francisco galleries and boutiques, as well as at the Museo Italo Americano.
NanceNotes is at present a one woman shop. We hope to remain small enough to continue the personal attention to each card and project.
Each NanceNote is signed by the artist. House and architectural portraits are rendered in pen and pastel and can include a supply of custom notecards and/or holiday cards.
